Shooting with Friends on the Waterfront in Plymouth

We had a meetup of my camera club last night at the Office Bistro in Plymouth, and spent an hour or so making photos in the rain out front on the waterfront. Lots of great reflections, rain coming down steadily, darkness at 5pm. The car lights, street lights and other shiny surfaces made for some great images, add in an umbrella or 2 and you have a group of people having fun with their cameras capturing what caught our eye. I love the challenge of night photography!

We headed inside for some food and drink in a very comfortable bar, I enjoyed the evening very much with my photo peeps!

Holidays on the Green at Pinehills, Plymouth, MA

A yearly tradition at Pinehills is the Holidays on the Green, and December 5th was the perfect day for it. Craftsmen and local artisans selling their goods, Santa, face painting, and the very popular Reindog parade.

I was hired to photograph the events of the day and enjoyed it immensely, everyone out and about having a great time in a beautiful place!

People love their dogs, such devotion to their pals was good to see.

It was a family affair kind of day.

This puppy was irresistible, so soft and cuddly, she was in the top 3 winners.

These beautiful Greyhounds won first place, well dressed and behaved.

Also in the top 3 winner category, sweet dog. Nice people, too!!

Walking Around Old Havana, Cuba

There were about 8 of us photographers that took off toward a part of Havana we had only seen from the bus. Great long streets full of life and crumbling old buildings attracted us, so when we had an afternoon off from the structured people to people schedule, we walked there from our hotel and had our own people to people experience. What a great afternoon we had, observing life from the streets, friendly people everywhere with old cars and the best backdrops ever!

Fellow Photographers and Friends in Cuba

I loved going to Cuba with Road Scholar, it was a treat the entire 9 day program!! We saw and experienced so many different types of places, and the icing on the cake were the 14 people we shared our adventures with. From as far as Nebraska, but mainly New Englanders, we shared a common bond of photography, but the spirit of camaraderie, flexibility, excitement, anticipation, and agreeableness everyone had made it a particularly wonderful trip! Thank you!

Essdras on El Malecon the Saturday night Michelle, Asha and I went out with him to enjoy the lively weekend ritual of the young people being seen.
