Walking around on a Sunday in Paris

Susan and I decided to walk to the Marche Des Enfants Rouge yesterday, Sunday, and as always walking anywhere is always richly rewarded with all kinds of sights and experiences. As it was Sunday, some of the main streets were closed off to cars, always a benefit to us pedestrians, and families were out and about.

Not 10 minutes from our apartment this friendly chef greeted us, love his hat and attitude!

 The Picasso museum certainly has a beautiful mansion to house his works of art.

Le Marche des Enfants Rouge... it was way too crowded for us to do more than walk through, but a lovely display of flowers were on sale.

 We spent a few hours at this cafe over a wonderful lunch watching the world go by.

 One of many cafes, it would take a lifetime to try them all... I'd love to give it a try :-)

Jardin des Tuileries in Paris on a Beautiful Day in September

The Tuileries gardens are enjoyed by many, and are such a lovey place to spend some time on a beautiful day, especially with someone you love :-)
They are located between the Louvre and the Place de la Concord, open to the public and chairs are provided for anyone who wants to sit for awhile.

Yes, cell phones are everywhere, we should have lots of documentation of our lives if we post them somewhere... like a blog maybe ?  :-) 

 In the way distance you can see L'Arch de Triomphe, but I don't think these 2 had eyes for that :-)

A Morning Walk Through Lucca

Yesterday I had the delightful pleasure of walking around Lucca with no design other than to see what was going on. Always wonderful happenings when walking in a town where everyone walks... being on the move with your feet creates it's own compelling energy. I love it!

These are the images I created from my rewarding walk in the morning for 2 and a half hours starting at 10:30am with the focus being on seeing and trying to make a good photograph. So lucky to be able to stroll out my front door and wander around town on a beautiful day with my new camera, the Fujifilm X-T2,  and my iPhone, but those will be posted later, maybe. Here are the mirrorless camera photographs (Fujifilm X-T2). I processed them in Adobe Lightroom playing with a new tonality I'm experimenting with, hope you like them.

Started the walk here, in the Piazza we live on. The view is always interesting and vibrant. The tables and umbrellas just went up yesterday, the warm season has begun!

The large structure behind the umbrella could use a facelift, any investors out there want to see what they can do with an old Palacio?

I love seeing the bicycles everywhere, adds to the charm of Lucca.
